At the Town Council meeting held on 23 June, three new Town Councillors were formally co-opted: Councillor William Merrin, Councillor Laura Phillips and Councillor Kirk Redhead. We welcome all three and look forward to working with them.

New Chair and Vice Chair of the Town Council for 2025-26
Following the Annual Council meeting held on 12 May, Members elected Councillor Andrew Neil as Chair of Wickford Town Council and appointed Councillor Derek Harrison as the Vice Chair for 2025/26.

Foodbank donation point
The Town Council office is now a collection point for the Wickford Foodbank.
Roundabout planting
Phase 1 of the planting scheme at the Nevendon Road and Cranfield Park Road roundabout has now been completed.
