Tree planting in Wickford

Tree planting in Wickford

Over the weekend fifteen volunteers including seven Town Councillors helped deliver and plant seven mature trees
Crab-apple, Silver Birch and Cherry
These were bought via the Wickford Town Council Tree Planting budget.
Four were planted along Radwinter Avenue, one was donated to St Andrew’s Church, one to the Wickford Railway Station (volunteers are replacing the Queen’s Canopy Tree that died) and the last one to Wickford in Bloom to replace the missing one outside the planter at Peacocks Shop.
Lovely mild sunny weather. Great to meet and have a chat.
Thank you all for helping – much appreciated.
