The Environment and Leisure Committee liaises with other agencies to address environmental issues. It provides support for environmental initiative and enhancements in Wickford. It considers issues with litter control, matters relating to public footpaths, highways and transport.
It considers development of leisure and community facilities. It is also responsible for the delivery of the Town Council’s programme of events.

The usual start time of the Meeting is 7pm, however, this is subject to change.
The meetings are held in public at which members of the public are entitled to
attend, unless there are sensitive matters to be discussed and they will be
excluded from that part of the meeting.

Copies of reports or papers for Committee meetings can be provided by the
Town Clerk on request.
