Wickford Town Council is pleased to announce that it is currently in negotiations with Basildon Borough Council regarding the potential occupation of the former Wickford Police Station in London Road.
The Town Council is exploring plans to bring the building back into active use to serve the whole community. The vision is to create a Civic Centre that supports local services, community activity, and provides commercial opportunities to help ensure the long-term sustainability of the site.
Wickford Town Council is keen to work collaboratively with local partners, organisations, and businesses to maximise the benefit for residents and create a space that reflects the needs and aspirations of the community.
