🌼 Looking ahead to spring
10,000 daffodil bulbs have now been planted across Wickford, bringing a bright and colourful display to look forward to in the months ahead.
🌿 Wick Green Project
Works at Wick Green are well underway, with improvements continuing to enhance this important green space for the community.
🛡️ Community Safety Officers
Our Community Safety Officers remain a fantastic addition to Wickford, providing visibility, reassurance and support for residents and local businesses.
🏗️ Planning & Infrastructure Updates
❌Strong objections raised to inappropriate developments in the Green Belt
🏘️Continued progress on the Neighbourhood Plan, now moving forward to the next stage
🚌Ongoing work with partners to improve High Street parking and bus re-routing to support the Town Councils aim to bring back Wickford Market to the High Street
🎄 December Events – A Great Success
🍽️ The Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch on 5 December was a complete sell-out, with great fun had by all who attended.
🛍️ The Christmas High Street Market on 13 December was well attended and brought plenty of festive cheer to the town centre.
🌱 Allotment Survey
We’re still gathering views from allotment holders, those on the waiting list, and residents interested in future improvements.
