🛍️ High Street Market – A Great Atmosphere
The High Street Market on Saturday 25 April created a real buzz in the town centre and was well attended. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported local traders.
🏛️ Annual Town Meeting
The Annual Town Meeting held on Thursday 30 April was well attended and it was great to engage with residents, share updates and hear your views.
🏗️ Planning & Infrastructure Update
• Continued progress on the Neighbourhood Plan
• Blue Plaque unveiling scheduled for 9 May
• Planning applications reviewed, with objections raised where proposals conflict with Green Belt policy or local impact concerns
🌳 Environment & Community Updates
• Work continues across Wickford on environmental improvements, planting schemes and community projects to enhance the town.
- Community Speedwatch – we are looking for volunteers to help support this initiative and make a difference in road safety across Wickford
