Many thanks to the residents who attended the Annual Town Meeting yesterday.
We were very pleased to receive our certificate for the the Silver Award of the Local Council Award Scheme, which was presented to the Chair of the Town Council, Councillor Andrew Neil by the Chairman of the Essex Association of Local Councils.
The speakers, Chief Inspector Paul Hogben, Jamie Saltwell from the Bar n Bus and Mrs Eunice Brockman from the Wickford BID along with Mark Francois MP were very well received with a number of questions on various topics in Wickford asked and answered.
