The Town Council has 5 noticeboards around the town. These are used for Town Council notices, including the Agenda for upcoming Council and Committee meetings.

The Town Council has installed a number of ‘Wickford’ style litter bins in the High Street and surrounding areas.
These are emptied by Basildon Borough Council on a daily basis.
Two new accessible benches have recently been installed at Wickford Memorial Park and Nevendon Recreation Ground. Part funding was provided by Essex County Councillors Malcolm Buckley and Tony Ball Locality Fund.

Railway Underpass Display Boards
The Town Council has finally completed a project suggested by former Councillor John Janaway back in 2022.
10 noticeboards have been installed in one of the railway bridge underpasses and Runwell Art Group kindly painted and installed a ‘History of Wickford’.
The opening ceremony was held in September 2025 with the Chair of the Town Council, Councillor Andrew Neil and Mrs Pat Janaway as sadly former Councillor John Janaway passed away before the project was completed.
Milestone
This is not owned by the Town Council but is located outside the Town Council office in Nevendon Road. It is a Grade II listed milestone.
